The panel dashboard - example data
01Benefits
The panel gathers everything an engineer needs to answer a customer in minutes - and nothing more.
Enquiries from the widget, from the hosted quoting page and the ones added by hand from a customer's file land in one list. The default view is the ones waiting for you.
Size, volume, mass, holes with their diameters and the thinnest wall. Plus a 3D model with sections and measuring, to check what the engine measured.
Material, machining with the minutes of every operation, setup, programming, finishing, margin and delivery - each on its own line, in your shop's currency.
A held quote carries a reason and a number: which limit it crossed and by how much. No guessing what to check.
Next to every quote, the three most similar parts you have already approved - with the price and how far the engine was off on them.
The owner sees everything; an employee sees only the tabs you give them. Everybody signs in with their own account.
02A day with the panel
Seven screens straight from the panel, in the order people usually go through them. Scroll on - the highlight shows where to look.
07:55
The bell in the panel collects new quotes, quotes from drawings and orders. You can also get e-mails and browser notifications - then you know about an enquiry before you open the panel.
08:00
Across the top: how many quotes are waiting and what they are worth, the median quoting time and the share of quotes that became orders. Below, the list "Needs a decision", each with its reason and the measured value. Every user arranges their own dashboard.
08:10
The default view is the quotes awaiting review. Search by file, customer or number, filter by material and date, and export the selected ones to CSV or move them to the trash.
08:15
A 3D model with dimensions, sections and point-to-point measuring. Beside it the readout - size, volume, mass, face count, holes with diameters, the thinnest wall - and the specification the customer gave.
08:20
Material, machining with the time of every operation, setup, CAM programming, finishing and margin. If something looks off, change the parameters or the machine for this job and the panel prices it again.
08:25
Keep the engine's price or type your own, then click "Approve and send". The panel shows the amount and the customer's address once more, and the customer gets an e-mail with a link to the quote and an access code.
14:30
The customer orders straight from the link. The order lands in its own tab, and when you mark it confirmed or shipped, the customer gets an e-mail. Payment is one click to tick off.

MetronQ panel screens - the shop, customers and amounts are examples
03Automation and people
The engine prices every enquiry. The safety gates decide whether the price goes to the customer straight away or to you first.
Every price passes an engineer. It is what a new account starts with - a good start while you get to know the engine.
A model or a drawing, from the widget or the quoting page.
The engine measures the geometry and times it on your machines.
Approve the engine's price, correct it or reject it.
A link to the quote and an access code.
These reach an engineer in every mode, together with the figure that held them.
The mode and the limits are set in Quoting rules, under Safety gates.
04Customer
An approved quote reaches the customer by e-mail: a link to the quote online and an access code. From the link, the customer orders straight away.
A quote you added by hand - from a file that came by e-mail - you send yourself: copy the link and the four-digit code. The panel records when the link went out, so you know which quotes actually reached someone.
Export the offer as a PDF in the customer's language and decide what it shows: company details, lead time, the specification, prices of assembly parts, price components and their shares, how long the offer is valid and your own terms. The margin is folded into the lines by default.

The owner adds employees and decides which tabs each of them sees. The shop's settings, API keys included, stay with the owner.
Add team members and set access individually for each one. The owner sees the whole panel.

Settings, the Team tab - example data
An employee gets exactly the tabs you tick: the dashboard, quotes, orders, quoting rules, calibration and the rest. New people start from a default set you choose once.
You can deactivate an employee's account at any time, and their decisions stay in the quote history - each one shows who made it.
The bell in the panel, e-mails about new quotes and orders, and browser notifications if you switch them on.
The menu folds into a drawer and tables turn into cards. Approve a quote from the shop floor, no computer needed.
The panel speaks English, Polish, German and Chinese. Dark mode is one button away.
Quotes and orders moved to the trash wait there for 30 days. Restore them in one click.
Every quote with the minutes of each operation and every cost line - for Excel or your own analysis.
The field in the top bar finds any pricing parameter and takes you straight to it.
06FAQ
No. The panel runs in a browser, on a computer and on a phone. Everybody in the shop works on the same data.
As many as your plan includes. Extra seats are bought in the Subscription tab, and each person signs in with their own account.
Yes. A new manual quote takes a model (STEP, IGES), a DXF file or a drawing as a PDF or a photo. The engine analyses it just like a file from the widget, and you send the customer the link and the access code. It counts towards your quote allowance like any other quote.
Not unless you want them to. By default the margin is folded into the document's lines. In the quote document settings you can show it as its own line and switch off any PDF section you would rather not show.
It leaves the queue and is marked "Rejected". The customer gets no message and no price.
No. You can choose an instant price or a review above an amount threshold. Quotes where a risk was found - a thin wall, a deep hole, an undercut - come to you anyway.
Yes. The dashboard shows the engine's accuracy against the prices in your last 200 approvals, and every quote lists similar parts from history with how far the engine was off on them. Calibration closes the gap.
A new account starts with an example price list. Upload a part you quoted last week and compare the breakdown with what you sent the customer.
