Getting started

From signing up to your first quote in about fifteen minutes.

Once your account exists, the panel opens the setup wizard: machines, materials, rates and the widget. It takes about 15 minutes, and every value can be changed later in the Quoting rules tab. On the welcome screen you can also pick „Set it up with me”: we book a short call and configure the shop together, at no extra cost on any plan.

The setup wizard

  1. 1Machines: add at least one - technology, hourly rate, work envelope, number of axes, minimum tool radius.
  2. 2Materials: pick entries from the 39-grade library and type in your own purchase price per kilogram.
  3. 3Rates: margin, minimum order value, setup time, lead times and delivery costs.
  4. 4Widget: copy the snippet onto your site or take the ready link to your hosted page.
Tip

The wizard only appears the first time you open the panel, and „Skip” closes it for good. Nothing is lost: every one of those fields lives in the Quoting rules and Settings tabs.

Trial and limits

An account starts on a 14-day trial: no card, 8 quotes and two users. That is meant to cover the whole path end to end, not production. Parts uploaded in the Calibration tab do not consume the quote allowance, so you can tune pricing as much as you like.

Your first test quote

Before you hand the quoting tool to customers, upload your own test STEP file through the widget or with the New manual quote button in the Quotes tab. You will see the whole path through your customer's eyes: geometry analysis, the configurator and a finished price with its cost breakdown.

Tip

Order matters: machines and materials first, then one test quote, and only then Calibration. Calibration decides how accurate your prices are and needs a working configuration to work from.
