Working with quotes

Review, adjustments and sending the offer to your customer.

The quote list

The list has search (part, customer, number), status, material and date filters, CSV export and multi-select for bulk actions. Every quote carries its own number, and the ones you have not opened yet are highlighted. Above the list sit four figures: how many await review, how accurate the engine is against your adjustments, the value quoted this month and the conversion into orders.

Quote detail

The detail view shows everything a technologist needs: a 3D preview with clickable features (confirmed threads and fits are highlighted), a line-by-line cost breakdown, the specification the customer chose with deviations from the standard marked, and similar parts from your history with the prices you approved.

A quote that arrived as a drawing opens with a banner and no 3D model: the parameters read off the drawing are pre-filled, and you check them, fix the material if it did not match your library, and set the price.

Adjustments and the decision

You can adjust the price in a single field: for the whole quote or for individual parts of an assembly. The automatic price is kept beside it, and your adjustment becomes a calibration sample. Approve and send notifies the customer by e-mail; Reject closes the quote with a note.

Export and the customer link

  • PDF export: a document with your shop's logo and colour, ready to send as an attachment. In Settings you decide whether margin is its own line or folded into the items.
  • HTML export: the same offer in a browser, printable to PDF in one command.
  • Customer quote link: the address where your customer sees the quote online and can order from it. A four-digit access code from the e-mail protects it.
  • New manual quote: upload a file on the customer's behalf (from an e-mail, say) and it runs the normal analysis path.

Trash

A deleted quote or order goes to Trash together with its uploaded file and stays there for 30 days. Until then it is one click to restore; afterwards we purge it along with the file. If the quote was already billed, its billing entry stays.
