Working with quotes
The quote list, the quote screen, price adjustments, sending the quote to the customer, and Trash.
The quote list
The list provides:
- search by part, customer and number, including the quote reference;
- filters for status, material and date;
- CSV export;
- multi-select for bulk actions;
- highlighting of the quotes nobody has opened yet.
Every quote has its own reference, and its prefix shows where the quote came from: WID- from the widget or the hosted page, WYC- created in the panel (as is every quote created before prefixes were introduced), API- sent through the integration API.
Above the list are four figures: the number of quotes awaiting review, the engine's accuracy against the shop's adjustments, the value quoted this month, and the conversion into orders.

Quote detail
The quote screen shows:
- a 3D preview with clickable features; confirmed threads and fits are highlighted;
- the cost breakdown, line by line;
- the specification the customer chose, with deviations from the standard marked;
- similar parts from the shop's history, with the prices approved for them.
A quote made from a drawing opens with a banner. If the engine rebuilt the part from the drawing, the screen shows a 3D preview and an engine price, which always waits for approval. Otherwise the parameters read from the drawing are pre-filled for checking, and the price is set by hand. If the material did not match the library, correct it.

Price adjustments and approval
The price is adjusted in one field, for the whole quote or for individual parts of an assembly. The automatic price is kept next to it. The approved price, adjusted or not, becomes a calibration sample. “Approve and send” notifies the customer by e-mail. “Reject” closes the quote with a note.
- “Discount for the customer”: a percentage discount for this customer only. It is not a price correction: engine accuracy and calibration continue to use the approved price.
- “Correct the approved price”: available until the quote is ordered. From then on, the customer's link, the PDF and the order form show the new price.
- “Send the quote by e-mail”: sends the customer the current price, the link and the access code again. It is offered after a correction. One quote can be sent at most five times a day.
- “Edit parameters”: quantity, material, quality, threads, fits, finishing and lead time, as the customer would set them. Saving re-prices the quote.
- “Machine for this job”: pins this quote to a specific machine of the park.
- “How it is bought”: the blank strategy for this quote only: cut to size or catalogue stock.

PDF quote, CSV export and the customer link
- “Download CAD file”: the file the customer uploaded.
- “Export quote (PDF)”: a document with the shop's logo and colour, for sending as an attachment. By default it is in the shop's language. It can be exported in any language the shop offers; the menu marks the customer's language.
- “CSV (full)”: every figure the engine used for this quote, one row per part of an assembly.
- “Customer quote link”: the page where the customer sees the quote online and can order it, protected by a four-digit access code. The card copies the link or the code and shows when the link was first shared. “Open” shows the customer's page without counting as a customer visit.
- “New manual quote”: a file uploaded on the customer's behalf (for example from an e-mail) goes through the normal analysis.
Settings, tab Quote document, contains an editor for the PDF with a live preview. It sets which sections the document shows (among them the margin as a separate line or included in the items), how many days the quote is valid, the shop's own terms, the title and headings per language, the accent colour and the date format.
Trash and deleting quotes
A deleted quote is moved to Trash together with its uploaded file and stays there for 30 days. During that time it can be restored with one click. After 30 days it is deleted permanently, together with the file. If the quote was already billed, its billing entry remains. A quote with an order cannot be deleted while the order exists.
Orders moved with the bulk action “Move to trash” can be restored from Trash in the same way. The bin icon on a single order deletes the order permanently; its confirmation dialog states this.
The file of a quote that was never ordered is deleted 90 days after it was uploaded. The quote itself stays in the list, without the file.
